  • ¼ yard optional lining (you can use scraps) match fabric stretch with Tri-Top
  • Matching Thread

Pattern Assembly

  1. Serger stitch the dart of (1) from the fold to the bottom edge. Repeat on both bust pieces of (1)
  2. Serger stitch the bottom of both triangles for aesthetics (not a requirement but recommended)
  3. Hem 1/2″ on both sides of (1) using a zigzag or cover stitch. Repeat this step on both bust pieces. Make sure to tuck in the tips of top where you will attach the sting in step 5. Check out this video to learn how https://youtu.be/im_LRABmpvU
  4. Sew both strings (2) measuring a minimum of 1 yard. Add ¼ yard per size depending on fabric stretch. Fold in the sides, then finish the stitch using a cover stitch, zigzag stitch or any other stretch stitch. Use a binding foot if you have one.
  5. Cut one of the strings you created in half for the neck straps. Sew the both neck straps to the top of (1) using a straight stitch.
  6. Use a straight stitch hem to both bottom edges of  (1)  ½” for the string hole.
  7.  Pull string through both tringles using a string turner or safety pin. Tie ends to secure
